DeFi
Also written or said as: decentralized finance, defi app
Financial apps that run on a blockchain with no company in the middle.
Swapping on a DEX, lending, borrowing and adding liquidity to a pool are all DeFi. When you trade a memecoin on PumpSwap or Raydium you are using DeFi: no account and no ID, just your wallet signing transactions. The flip side is that nobody can reverse a mistake for you.
This guide is for learning. It is not financial advice. Most memecoins go to zero and most people who trade them lose money. Only ever trade what you can afford to lose.
