Paper money
Also written or said as: paper balance, paper funds
A practice balance: trades are tracked as if they were real, but no real money is spent.
Many apps and bots let you start with paper money, so you can see how a strategy or a platform behaves before you risk any SOL. The prices are real; only the money is not. Expect real results to be somewhat worse, because real trades meet fees, slippage and failed transactions that a paper balance may not fully copy.

This guide is for learning. It is not financial advice. Most memecoins go to zero and most people who trade them lose money. Only ever trade what you can afford to lose.
