Break-even
Also written or said as: breakeven, break even, b/e
The price at which selling gets you back exactly what you spent, fees included.
Fees push break-even up. If you pay 1% to buy and 1% to sell, the coin has to rise a little over 2% just for you to get your SOL back, and more once priority fees are counted. Holders of a falling coin often sell the moment it returns to their break-even, which is why old entry prices tend to act as resistance.

This guide is for learning. It is not financial advice. Most memecoins go to zero and most people who trade them lose money. Only ever trade what you can afford to lose.
