Burn address
Also written or said as: dead address, incinerator, burn wallet
An address nobody controls, used to get rid of tokens for good.
Tokens sent to a burn address can never be moved again, so on a holder list it may show up as a big holder that will never sell. Good tools label it or leave it out of the top 10 figure. If a team says it burned tokens but sent them to a normal-looking wallet, check it, because tokens are only burned if nobody holds the key.
