Burn
Also written or said as: burned, burnt, token burn, supply burn
Destroying tokens so they can never be used again.
Burning removes tokens from the supply forever. A dev announcing 'I burned 10% of supply' sounds generous, but it changes little if the rest still sits in a few wallets. Do not mix it up with an LP burn, which is about the trading pool and matters much more for safety.
