Cope
Also written or said as: coping, copium, huffing copium
Comforting yourself with excuses after a loss.
Saying 'it's just a shakeout, it'll come back' while a coin bleeds 95% is cope. Copium is the imaginary gas people breathe to keep believing. A little cope is harmless, but cope that keeps you holding a dead coin, or buying more of it, costs real money.
