FOMO (fear of missing out)

Also written or said as: fear of missing out, fomoed, fomo'd, fomoing, fomo buy

Fear of missing out: the urge to buy because a coin is already going up.

You see a coin up 400% in an hour and buy because you cannot bear watching it climb without you. FOMO buys tend to land near local tops, since that is when the excitement is loudest. Not to be confused with FOMO, the social trading app.
