A spotlight pump.fun gave to a coin that had climbed a good way up its bonding curve.

For a long time, a coin that reached a set point on its curve was crowned king of the hill and shown at the top of pump.fun, which brought a wave of new eyes and buyers. That made the moment a target: some traders bought just before it hoping for the crowd, and some early holders sold into that crowd. pump.fun has redesigned its app since then and the badge may not be there today, but you will still meet the phrase in older posts and guides.
