Candle

Also written or said as: candlestick, candles, green candle, red candle

One bar on a price chart, showing where price opened and closed and its high and low.

Each candle covers a fixed slice of time, such as one second, one minute or one hour. A green candle closed higher than it opened and a red one closed lower. One huge green candle followed by a long red one on a fresh coin is the classic shape of a pump and an early holder cashing out.
