Cashback

Also written or said as: cashback coins, cashback mode, trader cashback, rebate

A setting that pays part of a coin's trading fees back to traders instead of to its creator.

On a pump.fun Cashback coin, the creator fee on each trade is credited back to the buyer, as long as the app they trade with supports it. As of October 2026 pump.fun no longer allows new Cashback coins: old ones still work, and a creator who wants to share fees now picks Holder Rewards instead. Trading apps also use 'cashback' for fee rebates. These programs change often, so check the platform's own page before counting on any reward.

This guide is for learning. It is not financial advice. Most memecoins go to zero and most people who trade them lose money. Only ever trade what you can afford to lose.
