Creator fee

A small share of every trade on a coin, paid to the person who launched it.

Launchpads like pump.fun pay the coin's creator a slice of trading fees, so a coin with heavy volume earns its dev money without the dev selling any tokens. That can be a good thing, since a dev who earns from volume has a reason to keep the coin alive. The split differs by launchpad and changes often, so check the launchpad's current rules.
