LP burn

Also written or said as: lp burned, burned liquidity, burnt lp, liquidity burned

Destroying a pool's LP tokens so its liquidity can never be withdrawn.

If the LP tokens are burned, nobody can pull the SOL out of the pool, so the 'pull the liquidity and run' rug cannot happen. pump.fun burns them for the pool it creates when a coin graduates. A burn does not stop the dev or big holders from selling their tokens into the pool, which can still crash the price. On a coin with its own pool, checkers show the burned share, and you want to see 100%.
