Slippage
Also written or said as: slip, slippage tolerance, max slippage
The gap between the price you were quoted and the price you get. Your slippage setting is the biggest gap you will accept before the trade fails.
With slippage set to 10% on a buy, the trade only goes through if you get no more than 10% fewer tokens than quoted. Set it too low and your trades fail in fast moves; set it too high and bots can sandwich you for the whole gap. Many traders use high slippage on fresh launches, which is exactly what sandwich bots look for.
