Sniper

Also written or said as: snipers, sniping, snipe, sniped, sniper bot

A bot or trader that buys a coin in its first seconds, often in the same block it launched.

Snipers watch for new coins and fire buys instantly, using fast servers, priority fees and tips. They get the lowest prices and usually sell into the first wave of real buyers. A coin where snipers grabbed a big share at launch has a lot of selling waiting above you, which is why terminals show a sniper share for each coin.
