Blue chip
Also written or said as: blue chips, bluechip, blue chip memecoin
A coin that has lasted and is widely held. As close to established as memecoins get.
The phrase comes from the stock market. In memecoins it means coins that have survived for years, trade on big exchanges and have deep liquidity, like BONK on Solana. Blue chips still swing hard, but they are far less likely to be rugged overnight than a coin launched this morning.
