pump.fun BOOST

Also written or said as: boost mode, pump boost, pump.fun boost, post-graduation buyback

A pump.fun feature that spends part of a graduating coin's SOL buying that coin in its first minutes on PumpSwap, then burns what it bought.

Since July 2026 it has been the default for most new pump.fun coins. When a coin graduates, about a fifth of the liquidity that used to sit in the new pool is instead used for automatic buys over roughly the first five minutes, and every token bought is burned. It only starts after graduation, so it cannot rescue a coin that never fills its curve, and once the five minutes are over the price rests on real buyers alone. Not to be confused with DexScreener boosts.

This guide is for learning. It is not financial advice. Most memecoins go to zero and most people who trade them lose money. Only ever trade what you can afford to lose.
