SOL
Also written or said as: solana coin, sol price, wsol, wrapped sol
Solana's own coin, used to pay fees and to buy memecoins.
You need SOL in your wallet to do anything on Solana: every transaction pays its fee in SOL, and most memecoin pools trade against SOL. Most people buy it on an exchange and withdraw it to their own wallet. Always keep a little spare for fees so you are never stuck unable to sell.
