Tip

An extra payment in SOL to get your transaction or bundle in quickly.
Tips go to block producers, usually through Jito, and work like a bid: a higher tip wins a better spot in the block. Snipers and fast trading apps tip on almost every trade. If you trade tiny amounts, tips plus priority fees can cost more than the trade is worth.
