Wash trading

Trading a coin with yourself to fake activity.

One person or group buys and sells between their own wallets so the coin shows high volume and lots of transactions. It fools charts, trending lists and traders who only read the numbers. It is a form of market manipulation, and with memecoins it is everywhere.
