Compute unit

Solana's measure of how much computing work a transaction needs.

Each transaction asks for a compute unit limit, up to 1.4 million, and its priority fee is a price per compute unit times that limit. So a swap that reserves more compute pays a bigger priority fee at the same price. Trading apps set both numbers for you.
