Fair launch
Also written or said as: fair launched, fairly launched, fair
A launch where nobody gets tokens before the public can buy.
No presale, no team allocation, no private round: everyone buys from the same starting point on the same curve. pump.fun made this the normal way to launch a memecoin. In practice snipers, bundlers and the dev's own buy can still grab a big share in the first seconds, so read the holder list to see whether a 'fair launch' really was.

This guide is for learning. It is not financial advice. Most memecoins go to zero and most people who trade them lose money. Only ever trade what you can afford to lose.
