The number of different wallets that traded a coin in a period.
DexScreener and other tools show makers next to volume. $1 million of volume from 150 makers is a few wallets trading a lot, often with themselves. The same volume from 3,000 makers looks much more like a real crowd, although wallets are cheap to create.
