Spot market
Also written or said as: spot, spot trading, spot buy
Buying the actual coin at today's price, as opposed to betting on it with borrowed money.
On an exchange, the spot market is where you buy SOL itself, which you can then withdraw to your wallet. Futures and perps are bets on the price with leverage, and they can be liquidated. For your first SOL, use spot.
